Shirley White

Shirley Jean White, age 88 of Fridley passed away on Dec. 14, 2023 at her home after a prolonged illness. She was born in Saginaw, Missouri to Minford and Alice Warden. She had 3 siblings, Jimmy, Dorothy, and Judy Swager of Joplin,Missouri. She played piano and sang in the choir. 

After graduating from Neosho High School, she married Earl Thomas and moved to Sioux Falls, S.D. They raised 3 sons, Dan, Mike, and Tim. 

In 1972 she married Robert White and moved to Columbia Heights and then to Fridley where she worked for Norwest Bank until retirement. 

She is survived by her sister Judy, nephews Todd and Travis Thoms, and Douglas Warden of New Market, Md, son Dan, granddaughter Danielle, 4 great-grandchildren- Cimmone, Sequoia, Carlos Jr, and Violet, and stepchildren Greg and LeighAnn White. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service to be held Friday Dec. 29 at 11AM, the service will also be livestreamed on Shirleys page at www.Washburn-McReavy.com. Visitation to be held one hour prior to service as well as Thursday evening from 4-7PM all at the Washburn-McReavy Hillside Chapel.
