(From Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home)Kim Kay Prichard 75, of Everton, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born on July 9, 1948, in Warsaw, MO to Blinn and Martha (Rosine) Prichard.
Kim was a lifelong area resident and he faithfully served in the United States Navy. He was a longtime member of AmVet Post #178. Kim’s mother gave him the love of reading. He enjoyed the Springfield Cardinals and KC Chiefs and enjoyed keeping busy, especially if that meant fishing or gathering with friends and family. Kim loved spending time with his favorite daughter and his grandchildren. He was an all-around good guy that will be missed by all those that knew him.
Kim is survived by daughter, Yolanda Gish and husband Dennis; grandsons, Paul Arnall, Jimmie Schafer and fiancé, Adrian Andrews; granddaughter and caregiver, Chelsey Bowles, great grandchildren, Kolson Arnall, Georgia Narr, Sophia Narr, Jaxon Allen; siblings, Dell Prichard and wife Karen, Al Wayne Prichard, Leon Ray Prichard, Edith May Lund and husband Michael, Keith Jay Prichard and wife Rita; Shirley Prichard; step-sons, Michael Beckham, Marcus Beckham; step-grandchildren, Marcus Allen Beckham, Rebecca Beckham; best friend, Willy Coble; special friend, Carol Murray; numerous nephews and nieces, other family and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gale George Prichard.
Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time, Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM, at the funeral home, with burial at Sinking Creek Cemetery.
