Preston White

Preston White, age 73, of Joplin, Missouri passed away Tuesday December 12, 2023.

He was born July 7, 1950 in Joplin, Missouri to Gene and Betty (Howell) White.

Preston worked as an electric motor repairman for Electric Motor Supply – JCI. Preston Had a big personality, loved to joke and enjoyed fishing. 

Preston never met a stranger. He loved to sing and served at the praise team. After retirement he worked at Wal-Mart and during the Christmas season he would be Santa Claus and he enjoyed talking to the children and singing to them. His great grandchildren were the love of his life.

He married Debra Keller November 12, 1971 and she survives. 

Also surviving are two daughters, Tresea Blades and husband Kevin, Racheal McCracken and husband Ryan; two brothers, Bob and Kevin White; three sisters, Margie Myers, Jodi Russell, Kerri Gayle Beier;
five grandchildren, Zach Blades, Jake Blades, Katie Bloomer, Garrett McCracken, and Dalton McCracken, eight great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday December 18, 2023 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Ty Walkinshaw officiating.
