Born on January 20, 1952, in Sioux City, Iowa, Greg's journey through life was marked by his adventurous spirit, his love for the outdoors, and the joy he brought to those around him.
In 1957, Greg's family moved to California, where he would spend his formative years. His early experiences there would shape his lifelong passions and his remarkable ability to fix and create with his hands. Greg's work ethic was unparalleled. He owned and operated Farrin Trucking Company for several years. Additionally, his skills as a union carpenter were well-respected, showcasing his craftsmanship and attention to detail. In 2004, Greg made a significant life change by moving to Jasper, Missouri, to enjoy life on the family farm. This move allowed him to fully embrace his love for the outdoors and his interests.
A man of many talents, Greg was an avid motorcyclist, a skillful operator of his John Deere tractor, a private pilot, and he found great satisfaction in cutting wood and immersing himself in outdoor activities. His hands were rarely still, as he was always tinkering, building, or fixing something.
Greg's sense of humor was as legendary as his ability to fix anything that came his way. He had a knack for making people laugh, and his presence was a bright light in the lives of his family and friends. Greg's funny anecdotes and joyful demeanor will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was a man who lived life to the fullest, with a heart as big as the sky he loved to fly in. His spirit, characterized by his handiness, creativity, and humor, will continue to inspire those who knew him.
