(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)Patrick Ferguson, age 77, of Pierce City, Missouri, passed away at 12:03 a.m. on Friday, December 22, 2023, at his home. He was born June 3, 1946, in Monett, Missouri, the son of Basil and Billie Marie (Davis) Ferguson.
Patrick was a 1965 graduate of Triway High School, in Stella, Missouri and attended Ozark Technical College. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He was a truck driver and retired from EFCO Corporation in Monett, Missouri. He enjoyed doing woodworking, gaming, and his pets.
On March 7, 1997, he married Elaine Sutherland, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Elaine; two sons, Russ Swadley and Matt Swadley and his wife, Sarah, all of Aurora, Missouri; one daughter, Sally Kieffer and her husband, Brandon, of Pierce City, Missouri; one brother, Michael Ferguson and his wife, Linda, of Pierce City, Missouri; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Billie and his son, James Swadley.

A graveside service, under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Barry-Lawrence County Development Center in Monett, Missouri, in care of the funeral home.
