(From Konantz Warden Funeral Home)Anita Sue Lintner, 64, of Lamar, MO passed away on Sunday December 24, 2023. She was born in Lamar, MO to Frank and Anna (Geisler) Waring. She grew up in Iantha, MO and lived her entire life in Barton County.
She married Robert Lintner on March 2, 1990, in Miami, OK.
Anita worked many years for O’Sullivan Industries before changing careers. She began working for Cox Barton County Hospital in 2000 and later graduating with her Paramedic License in 2005. She was a dedicated employee of Med One Clinic at Cox Barton County Hospital for 25 years.
She enjoyed being near the water with her toes in the sand, taking trips with her girlfriends but more than anything, she loved being with her family.
She is survived by her husband Robert Lintner; children Jennifer (Troy) Hicks of Lamar, MO, Melissa (Brian) Little of Carthage, MO, Colten Lintner of Joplin, MO, and Seth (Aezia) Lintner of Lamar, MO; grandchildren Tré (Priscilla) McAfee, Ethan McAfee, Ryan Owensby, Alex McAfee, Jarrett Little, Nathan Little, McKinley Bishop, Emily Little, Paislee Lintner, Grayson Lintner, Maggie Cowan, Jonah Cowan, and Bruno Lintner.

She is also survived by siblings Buster Waring of Stockton, MO and Joyce Logan of Lenexa, KS; and sisters-in-law Donna Stewart of Lamar, MO and Carla Lintner of Lamar, MO, as well as a large extended family and many close friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Jeannie Rhodes, and brother Robert “Bobby” Waring.
The family will receive visitors at 3:00 PM and a celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday January 2, 2024, at the Thiebaud Meeting Rooms.
