Alvenna Valentine

Alvenna Mae Valentine, age 89, of Lamar, Missouri passed away December 14, 2023 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Home in Belton, Missouri.

Alvenna was born July 5, 1934 in Lamar, MO to Alva Monroe McKenzie and Florence Mabel (Kellogg) McKenzie.

Alvenna worked at Thorco Industries as a sheet metal bender.

Survivors include one son, Samuel (Gloria) DiBenetto of Visalia, California; three daughters, Jean Dailey of Lamar, MO, Carmella Lynn (Jim) Mason of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Tammy Valentine of Belton, MO; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mary Jane Kaderly of Belton, MO.

Alvenna was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter; seven brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Golden City, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023 before the service at the funeral home.
