Warren Pathkiller

Warren Dwight Pathkiller of Afton, OK passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his home. He was 71.

Warren was born July 22, 1945 in Miami, OK to Warren and Virginia Lee (Sawvel) Pathkiller. He was a lifetime Miami and Picher resident and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He worked many years as a carpenter and homebuilder. He later worked for 15 years at Newel Coach. Warren was a member of the Rebel’s Cruise Club he loved to restore old cars and hot rods. He attended Commerce Community Church in Commerce, OK.

Warren was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Bryant Pathkiller on October 4, 2015 and by his parents.

Survivors include his children, Ginger Huston and husband Shannon of Fairland, OK, Deidra Freeman of Miami, OK, Lisa Trimm and husband Terry of Colorado and Larry Kowal and wife Judy of Fairland, OK a brother, Tom Mack Pathkiller of Joplin, MO and sisters Margie Hayworth of Wyandotte, OK, Joyce Ginger Champlin of Joplin, MO, Mary Lou Schenk and husband Don of Joplin, MO, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Commerce Community Church in Commerce, OK. Rev. Ron Rabel will officiate. Interment will be in Fairland Cemetery in Fairland, OK. Military Rites will be conducted by Grove Veterans Ritual Team. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Commerce, OK. Online condolences may be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhomes.com.
