Mary J. Hoover, 75, Neosho, entered into rest on March 4, 2018 at Medicalodge in Neosho, following a six month illness.
Mary was born June 8, 1942 in Neosho, the daughter of Ray and Artie (Lyster) Huffman. She moved to Kansas City in 1965 and returned to Neosho in 2002. She was a homemaker, an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed bowling. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mary and John E. Hoover were married on Aug. 2, 1958 in Neosho and he survives. Additional survivors include two sons, Bill Hoover of Harrisonville, MO and Andy Hoover and wife, Debby of Bella Vista, AR; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
Graveside services will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10 am at Belfast Cemetery.
