Carlyle “Carl” Stanton II, age 70, of Joplin, MO passed away on November 6, 2025 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Carl was born on August 10, 1955 in Spring City, MO to his parents Caryle and Geraldine (Saunders) Stanton. He worked for many years as a crew chief for Economic Security.

He was a man whose life was defined by the simple, enduring values of honor, integrity, and boundless love for his family. He approached every day with a commitment to keeping his word and instilling the importance of character in all who knew him.

He found quiet moments of peace when he went fishing, often returning to a special spot he loved. More than the catch, he cherished showing this place of solace to others, turning a simple hobby into a shared memory. His legacy is not just in the memories we hold, but in the strength of character and the steadfast love he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He will be profoundly missed, but his devotion will continue to be a steady anchor for his family.
