(From Clark Funeral Home0Ila Jane Haggard was born on April 3, 1936, to Walter and Pearl Osborn in Neosho, Missouri. Ila entered the gates of Heaven at the age of 89 on November 1, 2025, at Medicalodges of Neosho, Missouri.
Ila was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Neosho High School and a member of the class of 1955. Ila married Doran James Haggard on December 30, 1982. Together they shared nearly 36 years of marriage before his passing on December 6, 2018. Ila worked as an Optical Assistant at Dr. Weston’s office in Neosho, Missouri.
She was an active member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Neosho, Missouri. Ila enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She also enjoyed working in her garden, cross-stitching, and crafting.
Ila is survived by her children: Jim Bevis, and wife, Julie of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Matt Bevis, and wife, Denise of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Joe Bevis, and wife, Kelly of Neosho, Missouri, and Mike Bevis, and wife, Cindy of Willard, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren with one due in March and one due in April 2026; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Ila was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: Don Osborn and Bill Osborn, and Sandy McGeehee.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am, also at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Ila will be laid to rest at Gibson Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri.
