Kenneth (Bud) F. Young, 81, Wyandotte, OK, passed into eternal rest at 11:00 AM, March 4, 2015 at his home after an illness.
Kenneth F. Young was born September 5, 1933 in Wyandotte, OK the son of Foster (Euchie) A. and Mildred B. (Lasiter) Young. All of his life he worked with heavy equipment. He built and owned Young Trucking in Wyandotte, OK. He served on the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department and worked many years for the Wyandotte Public Schools as a bus driver and teacher's aide. Kenneth was a Navy Veteran serving his country during the Korean War.
Kenneth F. Young married Nella Jean Testerman April 16, 1954 in Seneca, MO and she survives.
Additional survivors include one daughter; Rhonda Olvera and husband Miguel, Joplin, MO; grandchildren, Nicholas Powell and wife Tammy, Fairland, OK, Ryan Powell and wife Jamie, Miami, OK; great-grandchildren, Riley Powell, Kinley Powell both of Fairland, Brooklyn Powell, Kane Powell, Kruze Powell and Kash Powell all of Miami, OK; one brother Curtis Young and wife Betty, Miami, OK and a host of friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Foster (Euchie) Young and Mildred Young.
The body has been taken for cremation. A memorial visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel, Seneca, MO.
