Randall Cargile

Randall Austin Cargile, 77, Carthage, entered into rest peacefully at his home on March 7, 2015. 

Mr. Cargile was born April 5, 1937 in Bower, Oklahoma, the son of Roy A. and Anna Louise (Bedford) Cargile. He was a lifelong area resident and had worked at Davidson Chemical; owned and operated a cattle farm in Diamond and then worked as plant supervisor at Tamko Roofing Products. He was a member of Life Church in Carthage and was known as ‘The Candy Man’. 

Randall and Mary Louise McInturff were married on Sept. 8, 1954 and she preceded him in Death on February 15, 2013. He is survived by three children, Glenda Louise Hall of Joplin; Connie Sue Walsh and husband, Curtis of Carthage and Kimberly Kuhns and husband, Jeff of Webb City; his baby sister, Ann Huddleston and husband, Les; one brother in law, Wayne Brust of Granby; three sisters in law, Maxine Cargile of Granby, Kay Cargile of Webb City and Norma Watts of Durant, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Leann Cargile; four sisters and five brothers.
