Susan Jane Penn, 66, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the Golden Living Center in Anderson, Missouri, after months of declining health.
Susan entered this life on March 14, 1950, in Noel, Missouri, daughter of the late Floyd and Nellie (Cash) Penn. She was a lifelong resident of Noel, Missouri. She graduated 2nd in her class from Crowder College School of Nursing in 1992. She was a traveling RN for several years before beginning her employment with Golden Living Center. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and spending time on her front porch. She was a member of Noel Faith Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Floyd Albert Penn.

Susan is survived by her three children, Larissa Tuell and husband, Kenny, of Noel, Missouri, Scott Goodwin of Anderson, Missouri and Greg Goodwin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Andrew Tuell, Brian Goodwin, Holly Goodwin and Alex Tuell; two brothers, Stephen Penn and wife, Patricia, of Rogers, Arkansas and Samuel Penn, Sr. and wife, Kathy, of Pineville, Missouri; a sister, Sharon Nelson of Rogers, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Noel Cemetery in Noel, Missouri with Rev. Brent Beauford officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Greg Goodwin, Kenny Tuell, Robert Nelson, Lloyd Penn, David Penn, Darrell Burnett and G.W. Tompkins. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
