Evelyn Bernice Nichols 67 of Miami, Oklahoma passed away Friday December 1, 2017 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin Missouri.
Evelyn was born November 29, 1950 in Columbus, Kansas to Everette Lee and Margret B. (Pierce) Harvey.
She married David Nichols September 15, 1993 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas he survives her of the home.
She worked at the Townsman Bar as a bartender after its closing she worked for the Elks Lodge in Miami, Oklahoma for several years before retiring.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Rexine Bernice Steen and one brother Leon Harvey.
Survivors three sons Virgil Witham Jr. of Columbus, KS Robert Dale Witham of Columbus, KS and Jerry Lee Witham of N. Miami, OK two daughters Tammy Michelle Witham of Miami, OK and Karie Lynn Witham of Joplin, MO three brothers James Harvey of Wyandotte, OK Ernest Harvey of Wyandotte, OK and Johnny Harvey of Commerce, OK one sister Karen Harvey of Miami, OK the love her life her beloved grandchild Caden Dale Witham 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Glen Abbey Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral in Miami. The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday December 5, 2017 from 6-7 at the Funeral Home.
