Inez Booth

Inez Arvilla (Thrasher) Booth, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 6, 2025 at 8:35pm following a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. Inez was born on March 28, 1943 to Lyford and Pauline (Saralls) Thrasher. She was the oldest of 7 children. Inez married her sweetheart, Chester Booth, on May 3rd, 1968. They were married 49 years before his passing in 2018.

Inez was primarily a homemaker but did work for a few years at McDonald’s in the late 90’s to early 2000’s. She was a mighty prayer warrior and wanted everyone she knew to make heaven their home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband; 3 sisters, Paulette Sherman, Kaye Prater, and Carolyn Thrasher; and 1 brother, Don Thrasher. She is survived by 3 children, Stephen Booth of Joplin, Timothy Booth of the home, and Lisa (Booth) Patterson (Kevin) of Carthage, MO; a bonus daughter, Dianna (Topper) Afriyie; four grandchildren, Brittany Radcliff (Glenn), Kyle Patterson (Robin), Caleb Patterson all of Carthage, MO, and Abigail Owens (Ethan) of Duenweg, MO; and five great grandchildren, Madelynn Radcliff, Haven Patterson, Khloe Patterson, Wyatt Patterson, and Emmett Radcliff all of Carthage, MO.

Services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:00pm, Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
