Naomi Campbell

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Naomi Faye (Cole) Campbell made Heaven a lot sweeter when she left this world on September 10, 2025, following a 6-week illness, at the age of 82 (6 days before her 83rd birthday). She was at home and had been surrounded by her family constantly since becoming ill.

Naomi was born in the living room of her parents’ home in Granby, Missouri, on September 16, 1942, to her parents, Pat and Eunice Cole.

On July 8, 1962, in Granby, Missouri, Naomi married Dallas Campbell, the father of their 13 children. Naomi soon became a mother - a title and role that she served faithfully, selflessly and beautifully the rest of her life. Even in the thick of motherhood, Naomi made the mothering of 13 children appear not only easy but also joyful. Naomi sewed nearly every piece of clothing her children wore, including her daughters’ wedding dresses. She was known as an extraordinary baker and cook. She made her children’s birthdays special by baking their custom-order birthday cake each birthday. (That’s a lot of birthday cakes.) Not only was Naomi a talented baker and seamstress, she also held these titles: homeschool teacher, gardener, chauffeur, nurse (oftentimes even stitching her children’s wounds), herbalist, generous giver, prayer warrior, friend and mentor.

After her children were raised, Naomi was employed as an in-home care provider. For the last 20 plus years, she served as the business administrator at Hwy 59 Discount Homes in Neosho, Missouri, where she was still doing payroll (from home) just a week prior to her homegoing.

Naomi loved life even in the hard and difficult seasons. Complaining was never in her vocabulary. Naomi enjoyed helping people become more healthy. She was a representative for Nature’s Sunshine, a vitamin and herb company. She took orders, made deliveries and spent countless hours researching and finding the perfect product that would be sure to cure most any ailment. She truly loved helping people.

Naomi made the decision to follow Jesus at a young age and made it her life’s mission to share God’s love to all around her. She believed that living by example was the best form of influencing others. Naomi attended the Neosho Church of God congregation, where she was loved by all.

Naomi was known as “Mother” by so many others besides her 13 children and their spouses. She had many “adopted” children and grandchildren.

Naomi delighted in her family. Naomi’s children would jokingly fight about who was the favorite child. She always loved being with her children, daughters and sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Naomi would light up each time she got to meet a new grandbaby. She celebrated each family member’s success and joyous occasions and provided care, support and love in their difficult seasons. Her family could confidently rest in the fact that she loved them and prayed for them always.

Naomi is survived by her brother, Jim Cole; her sister, Norene Harmon; and 11 children: Lenita and Doug Wall of Edmond, OK, Linus Campbell of Crane, MO, Regina Witham of Inola, OK, Deneasa and Marshall Allen of Neosho, MO, Arlan and Karla Campbell of Stark City, MO, Raleah and Jason Murphey of Guthrie, OK, Charla Campbell of Ozark, MO, Lindell and Patina Campbell of Ozark, MO, Darran and Julie Campbell of Republic, MO, Sannetta and Zeb Keepper of Aurora, MO, Lacinda and Duane Linch of Stark City, MO, and Kristia and Shane Reeves of Stark City, MO.

Naomi is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. Naomi prayed for her children and grandchildren by name daily and was faithful to send birthday and Christmas cards to each one individually, so it's only fitting that we name them here (this does not include their spouses). Grandchildren: Sarah, Andrea, Lindsey, Kaylee, Tyler, Linessa, Tanner, Heather, Rodney, Travis, Darla, Marlan, Kylan, Kyla, Jaród, Jarél, Matt, Brittany, Kayla, Lily, Jaxson, Hudson, Brooklyn, Saylor, Tara, Tyra, James, Rhelyssis, Delayuh, Seeley, Devan, Cameron, Preston, Mason, Araina, Willow, Elizabeth, Ethan, and Olivia.

Honorary grandchildren: Haylee and Robert.

Great-grandchildren: Mylo, Kelvin, Melia, Patrick, Saralyn, Kaylin, Daniel, Jenny, Elsie, Isaac, Mandy, Linden, Larissa, Lilah, Leanna, Annabelle, Kinsley, Ember, Dawson, Ella, Tillee, Tannessa, Stormi, Steely, Hudson, Haylee, Robert, Colson, Stetson, Selah, Tysen, Zoey, Asher, Sadie, Kyler, Jayelle, Caspian, Rillian, Alfred, Jack, Judah, Conner, Waylon, Ryatt, Adelynn, Ruthie, babies Emmett and Watson (due January 2026); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family whom she loved. In addition to her family, Naomi will be missed by coworkers, friends and a special hospice nurse, Reggie.

Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Campbell; her eldest daughter, Melissa Lafaye (Campbell) Linch; her son, Galin Roy Campbell; her granddaughter, Brenda Jo Allen; her sisters, Edith Lara, Alice Ewbank and Ruth Rodriguez; her brothers, (infant) Robert Cole, Paul Cole, and David Cole; and her parents.

The visitation will be held at Clark’s Funeral Home in Granby, Missouri, on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a private viewing for immediate family only prior to 5:00 p.m.
