Allen Daniels

(From Parker Mortuary)

Allen Leon Daniels, born in Newton County, Missouri on the 5th of July 1938 passed away on the 8th of December 2025 peacefully at his home in Altamont, Kansas surrounded by loved ones.

Born to Clem and Bertha Spiva Daniels, Allen was raised in a humble household in Racine, Missouri where at a church service he met his wife, Linda, who survives him. In the same spirit as their first encounter, they also lived their lives, holding in the highest regard the life and legacy of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Married in 1958, Linda and Allen raised three children; Ronald, Paula, and Roger, the latter two of which survive. Allen worked long hours, running a dairy farm alongside his wife as well as fulfilling a 40-year career at Eagle Picher. His work contributed in part to NASA’s explorative operations. After his retirement, Allen found further fulfillment working with his son, Roger, in his construction company.

Throughout his life, he used the skills he cultivated through his many endeavors to help friends and family in their home and building projects. Perhaps most significantly, he contributed to building and remodeling six or more churches in Southwest Missouri. His ministry stretched beyond the work of his hands, and into the lives of those who surrounded him, especially his family. Even Allen’s free time was spent displaying a beautiful example for his family, occupying himself with his love for the Word of God, gardening with his wife, fishing with his children, and occasionally woodcarving.

Allen is preceded in death by his son, Ronald L. Daniels.

Allen is survived by his wife, Linda Jo Conduff Daniels; brother, Steve Daniels (Alice) of Racine; daughter-in-law, Judy Spriggs Daniels of Webb City, and her child; Ashley Neal (Jamie) and their children, Meredith and Madelyn; daughter, Paula Klamm (Michael) of Joplin and their children; Jaisa Wheeler (Joshua) and their children, Raye Lynn, Heidi, and Hannah; Alicia Hawes (Nathaniel) and their children, Eisabella and Jedadiah; son, Roger Daniels (Letiticia) of Altamont, Ks, and their children; William Allen Daniels; Kelsey Daniels; and Joshua Daniels (Kayla) and their children, Ava, Pasleigh, Grayson, and Declan. Among these are many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary, with burial to follow at Burkhart Cemetery in Racine, Missouri. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Parker Mortuary Chapel.
