(From Lakin Funeral Home)Gerald Ray Lee, age 56, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at his home in Wentworth, MO. He was born in Mount Vernon, MO on Sunday, July 27, 1969; son of Charles and Linda (Masters) Lee. Gerald married Crystal Kean on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Pierce City, MO.
Gerald spent many years building and remodeling houses. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering with old cars, and traveling. He cherished time with his family. His grandchildren were so special to him. He loved smoking/grilling meat, having big dinners, and visiting with his family. Gerald always looked forward to the Fourth of July with his family. He was known for saying "Git-R-Done" and will be remembered for working hard and making things happen for his family. He will be missed by many.
Surviving are the following: his wife, Crystal of the home; seven children, Brandon (Shannon) Lee of Mount Vernon, MO, Cody Lee of Stotts City, MO, Hunter Lee of Wentworth, MO, Jamie (Tasha) Pennington of Stotts City, MO, Wesley Pennington of Wentworth, MO, Briar Pennington of Stotts City, MO, and Kayla (Cameron) Reynolds of Wentworth, MO; thirteen grandchildren; his parents, Charles and Linda Lee of Wentworth, MO; four brothers, Charles Lee II of Pierce City, MO, Carlan Lee of Mount Vernon, MO, Landon Lee of Diamond, MO, and Kyle Lee of Mount Vernon, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gerald was preceded in death by his sister, Jana Garrison.
Graveside services will be at Moore Cemetery in Stotts City, MO on Thursday, December 11, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM with minister Danny Darland officiating. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery in Stotts City, MO.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Gerald's memory, to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
