James Henry

James Tillman Henry, age 72, of Cassville, Missouri passed away on December 10, 2025 in Cassville, Missouri.

He was born on August 4, 1953 in Yakima, Washington to Junior and Martha (Noel) Henry. On February 22, 1973 in Cabool, Missouri James was united in marriage to Janice Smallwood, who survives. Also surviving are one son, James Henry of Cassville, Missouri; one daughter, Jenny Fink and her husband Jonathan of Exeter, Missouri; three brothers, Thomas Henry and his wife Lana of Neosho, Missouri, Robert Henry and his significant other, Kim Paulsen of Summersville, Missouri and Joe Henry and his wife Donna of Thayer, Missouri; one sister, Lorine King and her husband Jim of Mountain View, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jayce and Jaden and three great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Maxine, and River.








James was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Martha Henry; one brother, Lonnie Henry; and one sister, Donna Henry.

James grew up in Summersville, Missouri where he attended Summersville High School. After graduation, he dedicated his professional life to serving his community through his work in the Public Works Water Department for the City of Cassville and Exeter, Missouri. He also volunteered as a firefighter in Cassville for many years. James enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, a hobby that allowed him to connect with history. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, often found camping and sharing his love for the great outdoors with his family. He especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren. James attended First Baptist Church in Cassville. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. 








Graveside services will held Monday, December 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri. Pastor Lee Beck will conduct the services.

Memorial donations may be made to Oak Hill Cemetery in memory of James.
