(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Jayne Alene Thomas-Greene passed away December 7, 2025, at the age of 75 in Carl Junction, Missouri surrounded by her loving family. As she faced cancer, she showed incredible courage and grace. Throughout the journey, she walked with God and her faith was her strength, always confident God was in control, trusting fully in His plan for her. Her smile lit up a room and everyone who knew her, loved her. She lifted and inspired everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed.
She was born on July 4, 1950, in Great Bend, Kansas, to Edward and Catherine (Stokes) Williamson. She attended Shawnee Mission West High School in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated in 1968. Jayne worked as a surgical technician for several oral surgeons in town.
She attended First Christian Church Webb City and was an active member of Briarbrook Country Club. Jayne had a passion for playing golf with Gary and friends. She loved attending all her grandchildren’s events. Mimi (aka grandma) was their biggest fan.
Jayne is survived by her husband, Gary, and her two sons, Scott Thomas and wife Lissa (Clevenger) and Jared Thomas and wife Jennifer (Reiboldt). Bonus kids: Cassidi Pereira and husband Jorge as well as Todd Greene and wife Claudia (Carvajal). She had ten beloved grandchildren: Adlyn, Corban, Bennett, Truett, Kaed and Karson Thomas as well as Hailey and Nick Pereira and Mariana and Sergio Greene. In addition, she is survived by her brothers Lynn and Joe Williamson and sister Lisa Williamson.
A visitation honoring Jayne’s life will be on December 18, 2025, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri at 3701 E. 7th Street, Joplin, Missouri from 5:30 -7:00 p.m.
