Judi Parker

(From Derfelt Funeral Home)

She began working for the SEK Interlocal as a Pre-School Paraprofessional at Galena USD 499 and continued until her retirement in 2013. Her favorite job title was being called "Granny" as she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was united in marriage with Ron Parker on October 12, 1964 in Miami, OK. He survives.

Additional survivors include four children, Ronnie Parker (wife, Kristina) of Nixa, MO, Butch Parker (wife, Paula) of Oronogo, MO, Tonya Hughes (husband, Robert) of Galena, KS, and Shawn Parker (wife, Courtney) of Joplin, MO; 14 grandchildren, Krista, Kassie and Kari Parker, Kyra West (husband, Dwayne), Kalyn Huffman (husband, Tyler) Kaley Smith (husband Jarrett), Tori Adams, Chase Adams (wife, Kourtney), Drake Adams (wife, Kaylea), Connor Adams (wife, Maeci), Lane Parker, Emmah and Eli Ludwig, and Landree Parker; 10 great-grandchildren, Aedyn, Oakley, Korra, Deacon, Bentley, Parker, Ryder, Taytum, Bowin, and Anora; three sisters, Betty Honeywell, Sheila Murray, and Lisa Chesnutt; as well as several nieces and nephews.
