Gary Lee Smith 64, of Seneca, MO died September 14, 2015 at Freeman Neosho. Gary was born November 30, 1950 to Daniel Joseph and Wilda Maxine (Pogue) Smith in Rockford, IL.
Gary served in the U.S. Army from March 1968 to February 1974. Serving in Vietnam. He was a truck driver for Rebel Tire, in Arkansas, and had lived in this area since 1987. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Catterson) Smith. He is also survived by three sons: Jim and Kimberly Smith of Neosho, Robert & Larissa Smith of Wyandotte, OK and William and Christal Smith of Neosho. One daughter, Charlenia Smith, Seneca, MO. Gary is also survived by two sisters: Carolyn and Dale Goodwin, Walcott, AR and Patsy and George Osborn, Paragould, AR. His surviving five grandchildren: Bailey & Zach Ward, Granby, MO, Ty Smith, Kaylynn, Smith, Alexus Smith and Dacota Smith all of Neosho. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald Smith.
