Lucille Ritter, 100, Neosho, died September 11, 2015 at her home, following a short illness.
She was born December 9, 1914 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of John and Zulah (Richardson) Reese. Lucille was raised by her grandmother, Molly Reese. She lived the last 55 years in Neosho and was a homemaker.
Lucille married Floyd Ritter on October 14, 1955 and he preceded her in death on September 17, 2001. She is survived by seven children, Mary Virginia (Crickett) Warren of Neosho, James Ritter and wife, Wilda of Seneca, Elizabeth (Betty) Van Dorn of Neosho, Joan D. Bynorth of Neosho, Bernice Johnson of Seneca, Carolyn Beavers of Neosho and Larry Joe Ritter of Granby; one second cousin, Jacqueline Weiss of Marion, IL; twenty-one grandchildren; fifty-three great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Lucille is preceded in death by her grandmother, Molly Reese; three children, Anna Mae Ellis, Floyd Maurice Ritter and Leonard D. Ritter; and two grandsons, John Warren and Martin Ritter.
