Joyce Kay Richards, age 75 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at her home, surrounded by family.
Joyce was born June 28, 1940 in Sweet Springs, Missouri to the late Austin Van Buskirk and Edith Reno Van Buskirk. She was a retired control supervisor with Lozier Mfg. for over 21 years.
Joyce married Wendell "Buck" Richards on June 25, 1960 in Harrison, Arkansas and he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include a son, D. Troy Richards and wife, Jenny of Joplin; grandson, Tristan Richards of Joplin; brother, William Van Buskirk of Marshall, Missouri.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Charles Stewart.
There will be no services per Joyce's wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Lafayette House in care of the mortuary.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
