Betty Joyce Kain, age 81, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
Betty was born on May 11, 1934 in the state of Indiana. Betty worked as a data entry analyst for Lane Bryant while living in Indiana. She lived in many different states during her lifetime, but she resided in Sarcoxie for the last twenty-eight years. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother.
Betty married Harry Kain and he preceded her in death in 1995. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Mark Kain.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Cathy Thomas, of Sarcoxie; one son, Harry Ronald Kain, of West Virginia; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Cave Springs Cemetery in Sarcoxie, Missouri, with Pastor James Yost officiating.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
