Lydia H. Whitaker, 94 of Carthage, passed away April 28, 2016 in Sarcoxie Nursing Center,
Lydia was born April 24, 1922 in Uniontown, Kansas to Walter W. Miller and Bessie Mae “Wolf”. Lydia was a longtime Jasper County resident and was a homemaker.
Lydia was united in marriage to Wayne Ramey in Reno, Nevada he preceded her in death May 16, 1966. Lydia is survived by one daughter Rena Thrasher of Carthage, four grandsons Douglas Thrasher and wife Kristi, David Thrasher and wife Ginger, Donnie Thrasher and wife Tasha and Dustin Thrasher and wife Camille. Fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Lydia is preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters.
