(From Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home)Carol Jean (Aurentz) Jackson, beloved mother and daughter of Carl Aurentz and Hazel Clark White, passed away on January 3, 2026 at the age of 86.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doris Glen Jackson.
She was known for her kindness, strength, and warmth and the love the shared so freely.
She is survived by her children, Carla and Lee Szymanski, who reside in Carl Junction, MO, Jim and Mary Jackson who reside in Springfield, Paula and Todd Wiesehan who reside in Springfield, and Jeff Jackson who resides in Republic. Carol is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, others, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Carol requested a graveside service that will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, and will be laid to rest with her husband, Glen. Arrangements are under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
