(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Donald Dean “Don” Witt, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation Facility at the age of 91.
He was born on February 17, 1934 in Weaubleau, MO to Albert Jesse and Mona Belle (Crithfield) Witt. Don was an electrician in Lockwood for many years. He had two sons, Jim and Chris, and one daughter, Kim. He met Joanne (Collins) Ragsdell and they were married on August 15, 1964 in Lockwood, MO. Joanne’s children, Steve and Marsha, were adopted by Don.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and Mona Witt; his wife, Joanne Witt; his daughter, Kim; and his stepson, Steve.
Survivors include his two sons, Jim Witt of Lockwood, MO and Chris Witt of Washington; and his step-daughter, Marsha VanDever and husband Mike of Kansas City, MO.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
