(From Ozark Funeral Home)Ralph Edward “Eddie” Jackson, age 80, of Anderson, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Seneca House in Seneca, Missouri, following a recent decline in health. He entered this life on March 19, 1945, in Altus, Oklahoma, born to the union of the late Kenneth Elmo and Ileene (Renner) Jackson.
He was longtime resident of McDonald County, known for his skilled hands and his willingness to help others. Ralph was a carpenter by trade, a gifted mechanic, and even spent a few years driving a truck.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as watching TV and engaging in woodworking. His true passion, however, was helping his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Richard Benjamin Jackson and wife, Kimberly, of Stafford, Virginia and Jared Jackson and wife, Melissa, of Anderson, Missouri; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Jackson and wife, Shari, of Omaha, Nebraska; a sister, Nancy Snell and husband, Sherman, of Grove, Oklahoma; as well as a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Jackson; a grandson, Kaden Jackson; and two sisters, Kimberly Jackson and Debbie Bratcher.
Graveside services are 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026 at Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri with Pastor Fred Mills officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Richard B. Jackson, Jared Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Jacob Jackson and Richard Jackson. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
