Mark Farren


William Mark Farren 
(September 4,1958-December 10,2025)

Mark Farren from Joplin, Missouri passed away in his newly found home of Port Saint Lucie, Florida on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He was 67 years old. He joins his mother, Marlene (Boyer) McCormack; two brothers, Steve and Dan; his father, BillFarren; his cousin, Alan; and more loved ones. 

Mark was born to Marlene and Bill in Joplin, Missouri where he worked his first job at his mom’s ice cream and hamburger joint and drove his first car, a Dodge Barracuda. 






At 17 years old, Mark joined the electrical union, IBEW Local 95, as a journeyman. By 2013, Mark had moved to Longmont, Colorado where he retired from the IBEW as a foreman and continued raising his children with his mom nearby. 

In Colorado, Mark enjoyed hiking the many diverse trails with loved ones and continued pursing his lifelong passion of antiquing, “junking,” by moving collectible items online. He was a family man, known as the grandpa who was always there when you needed him to his oldest granddaughter, Lana. 

Mark is survived by four children, Jade (27), Alexis Zevon (22), Zac Thaddeus (30), and Molly (39); two grandchildren, Lana (9) & Maeve (2); and his brother, Scott. 

Mark will have a place in Joplin’s Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
