(From Buchanan Funeral Home)William Rixon “Rick” Eaton, 82, of Monett, MO, passed away on Monday morning, January 5, 2026, while at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO.
Rick was born on November 29, 1943 in Crane, MO, son of the late Curtis and Faye Eaton. Rick was raised in the Crane area and he later worked for over ten years at EFCO and retired from ASI in 2005.
Rick lived a simple life. He liked western movies and going to the casino. He was a very hard worker and provider for his family.
On December 21, 1962, in Oklahoma City, OK, Rick married Charlotte Decker and to this union, they were blessed with their daughter, Amanda.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Curtis Eaton and Faye Forbes; and his loving wife, Charlotte.
Rick is survived by his daughter, Amanda Keithley and husband Eric of Monett, MO; one grandson, Brody Williams of Hollister, MO; and one sister, Helen Newby, of Choctaw, OK.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Crane Community Cemetery in Crane, MO. Brother Duane Garren will be officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
