Loretta Moore

Loretta M. Moore age 83 of Webb City passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital.

 She was born on May 8, 1930 in Spring City, Missouri to Earl L. Waddle and Nita M. Pearson Waddle. Loretta was a bank bookkeeper for 5 ½ years, a volunteer treasurer of the Diabetes Association for 7 years and secretary treasurer for 3 of those years, and a homemaker for all of this time. She is a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Webb City. Loretta married Wm. Benjamin Moore on September 25, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2009. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Waddle and her parents. Loretta is survived by her sons, Edward Earl Moore and wife Sherrie Lynn of Carl Junction, Dale Brotherton of Cullowhee, North Carolina; grandchildren, Travis Brotherton, Tiffanie Yeakey and husband Michael, Anglenia Huffhina and husband Jason, Adam Moore; great grandchildren, Aron Yeakey, Levi Yeakey, Noah Yeakey, Jessie Yeakey, John Elvis Yeakey, and Charleigh Huffhina.

 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City with Reverend Kyle Beverlin officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Emmanuel Baptist Church or to Camp Hickory Hill and Juvenile Diabetes Camp in Columbia, Missouri.
