Shelby Ray Crump, age 67 of Webb City, MO passed away at 9:21 pm Saturday April 19, 2014 at the Webb City Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on September 28, 1946 in Timpson, TX the son of Charles and Annie “Smith” Crump. Shelby was a veteran serving his country with the United States Air Force. He worked as a maintenance man for Cardinal Scale. He married Gayla Simon on December 13, 1987 in Billings, MT.
Survivors include his wife Gayla, two sons: Raymond Crump and Anthony Simon; three daughters: Leah Dailey, Denise Simon, and Andrea Wagner; nine grandchildren Jacob, and Braden Daily, Christian Soard, Olivia Dawson, Jarrod Richardson, Benjamin, Jayme, Shelby and Cole Wagner; two great grandchildren Leon and Bentley; a brother Gregory Crump, and a sister Drewan Nugent.
Per Shelby’s wishes he was cremated and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
