Donald Ray Trimble, age 62, Joplin, passed away at 7:03 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2015 at his home after an illness.
Don was born June 17, 1953 in Hutchison, Kansas to the late Thomas R. Trimble and Jewell C. Bay Trimble and had lived in the Joplin area for most of his life.
Don was a self employed contractor, having worked in the construction field all of his working life.
He married Janice E. Myers on June 26, 1987 in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives.
Additional survivors include his children, Jayme Richardson and his wife, Kendra, Quapaw, Oklahoma, Rick Trimble, Missouri, Billy Trimble, Missouri, Billy Barber and his wife, Britney, Joplin, Donny Trimble, St. Louis, Jill Richardson, Joplin, Andrea Thompson and her husband, Thomas, Webb City; five sisters, Rosemary Bond, Riverton, Kansas, Sue Horine, Carl Junction, Roberta Ferguson, Joplin, Dorothy Easley, Florida, Debbie Steele, Florida; two brothers, Lonny Trimble, Escondido, California, Tom Trimble, Burlington, Iowa; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial services are planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Bethel Church of Joplin, 3414 S. Sergeant.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
