Misti Dawn Tackett, age 42, of Joplin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 9, 2015 at her home.
Misti was born on April 3, 1973 to Lonnie Ray Testerman and Patricia Ann Daugherty Testerman in Joplin. She was a 1993 graduate of Joplin High School. Misti was a homemaker, raising her kids and traveling with her husband throughout his military career.
Misti attended Impact Life Church of Joplin.
On June 25, 1992, Misti married Steven Wayne Tackett in Galena, Kansas. He survives of Riverton, Kansas area.
Additional survivors include her mother, Patricia Daugherty of Joplin; sons, Christian Tackett of Pittsburg, Kansas and Brayden Tackett of Riverton, Kansas; brother, D. Shawn Daugherty of Joplin.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Testerman and her grandparents, Bill and Frances Daugherty and Lester and Betty Testerman.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
