LaRae Lewis, 64, passed away October 29, 2015 at Joplin, MO.
LaRae was born December 10, 1950 in Puyallup, Washington to Alvin Miller and Rosanna Bower Miller. She was a longtime Carthage resident and had lived in the Carthage area for the past 25 years, LaRae was a homemaker and a member of the Central Christian Church of Joplin.
LaRae was united in marriage to Ron Lewis on February 25, 2000 in Carthage, MO, he survives. LaRae is survived by two sons Ron Burdette of Webb City, MO, and Ronald Lewis of Cudahy, WI, four daughters Stephanie Brown of Webb City, MO, Sabrina Tyndall of Webb City, MO, Lisa Purser of Fairland, OK, and Valerie Crites of Joplin, MO, seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. LaRae is preceded in death by her parent’s two brothers James Thomas Miller and Leroy Webster Miller, and one grandson.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday November 2, 2015 at Osborne Cemetery, Joplin, MO. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
