Gail Lee Davidson, 70, of Neosho, MO, formerly of Moberly, MO, passed away October 16, 2015 at Freeman Hospital.
Gail was born September 15, 1945 in Moberly, MO to Charles Marion and Esther Mae (Nichols) Davidson. Having served in the U.S. Army from 1965 - 1968; Gail was a patriotic American who loved his country and often shared that love of country with others. Gail was an engineer for the Norfolk Southern Railroad for nearly 40 years. He was a member of Neosho United Methodist Church.
Gail married Cheryl Greening on December 22, 1973, and she survives. Also surviving are four children, Dawn Brand and husband, Jeff of Moberly, MO, Shawn Davidson and wife, Genie of Moberly, MO, Greg Vitt and wife, Linda of Imperial, MO and Suzanne Puckett and husband, Stuart of Neosho, MO; eight grandchildren, Lexie Brand, Nick and Jack Davidson, Joseph, Patrick and Victoria Vitt and Sam and Stuart Puckett; and one brother, Charles Davidson and wife, Ibia. Additional survivors include brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Church service was held Tuesday October 20, 2015, 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church
Entombment was held Friday, October 23, at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
