Ronald Lee Beck, 52, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at his home with family by his side.
Ron was born January 4, 1963 in Joplin to Bob Beck and the late, Mary Ann Frakes Beck. He was a lifelong resident of Joplin and worked 35 years for Eagle Picher. Ron loved his family and was constantly surrounded by great friends. Ron recently gave his heart to Jesus Christ and was attending St. Paul's United Methodist Church where he volunteered many hours of his time.
Ron is survived by his father, Bob Beck of Joplin; sons, Chris and Matthew Beck of Joplin, Travis Beck and fiancé, Tina of Joplin, Kody Beck and fiancé, Nicole of Charleston, South Carolina; 12 grandchildren that he thoroughly enjoyed; sisters, Linda Trenary, Debbie Strickland and Becky Davied, all of Joplin; nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends that will all miss Ron's big heart.
Services for Ron are planned for Thursday, October 29th at 6:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary, Joplin. Family will receive friends following the service. Cremation will take place following services and his ashes will be buried at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church in care of the mortuary.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
