(From Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mrs. Nellie Mae Seeber, 96, of Rogers, Arkansas, formerly of Oronogo, Missouri, departed this life on Friday morning, June 10, 2022, in the comfort of her daughters home.
Nellie entered this life on December 13, 1925, in Oronogo, Missouri, daughter of the late Chester Field and Edna (Wilson) Carey.
On February 27, 1943, in Carterville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Raymond Leroy Seeber, Sr. and together they shared forty-eight years before his passing on April 23, 1991. For thirty plus years, Nellie worked as a seamstress at Elders Shirt Factory in Webb City. She resided in Oronogo until moving to Northwest Arkansas in the early 1980’s where she retired from Clorox in Rogers. She enjoyed working with ceramics and going to area flea markets. Nellie was a member of Purcell Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Seeber, Sr.; and a son, Raymond “Sonny” Seeber, Jr.

Nellie is survived by her daughter, Kathy Seeber of Rogers, Arkansas; a sister, Dortha Adams of Webb City; three nieces, Gina Munson, Valerie Gonzalez and Linda Cook all of Webb City; a daughter-in-law, Lora Lea Wurzlow of Rogers; as well as a host of other family.
Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Oronogo Cemetery with B.J. Goodwin officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, Missouri.
