Amelia Flesher

Amelia Rosalie Wilson-Flesher, age 94, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, formerly of Danville, Illinois, passed away at 3:10 A.M. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in Joplin, Missouri. She was born January 17, 1929, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Peter and Lyndall (Vandiver) Stines. 

On August 7, 1993, Amelia married Robert E. Flesher, who preceded her in death. 









Amelia was an Assistant Foreman for the Tee Pak Manufacturer for many years. She was a devout Christian and would talk about Jesus any chance she got. Amelia loved spending her time working in the yard, sewing, or crocheting. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Kenton Wilson, Melissa Johnson, Cynthia Lahne, Robin (Thomas) Oliphant; twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lynn (Colleen) Stines, and Bruce (Becky) Stines.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Marcus Wilson, two sisters, Verona Stines and Elda Smothers, brother Lilliard Stines, and the father of her children, Fred Wilson Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. Contributions may be made in honor of Amelia to the Solace House of the Ozarks, 2425 Mina Ave Joplin, MO 64804.
