(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Don H. Parker, age 70, of Joplin, Mo. passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at his home in Joplin. Don was born March 4, 1953 in Joplin, the son of Edward and Bernece (Benge) Parker.
Don was a mechanic and owned and operated Duquesne Auto Service along with his son Chris since 1987. He attended Duenweg Baptist Church. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, family camping trips and occasional trips to the casino.
He married Cindy (Cossey) Parker, July 11, 1987, in Neosho and she survives.
Additional survivors include three sons, Chris Parker of Joplin, Mo., Curt Parker and Bailey of Joplin, Mo, Craig Parker and Lilly of Joplin, Mo., and.; one brother, Kenny Parker and wife Diana of Joplin, Mo.; two sisters, Sue Jent of Joplin, Mo. and Nancy Toler and husband Alan of Kiefer, Ok.; and one grandson Paxton Parker.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Stone Cemetery, Diamond, Mo. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. until service time Thursday. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory of Joplin, Missouri.
