Linda Allred

Linda Sue Bishop Allred born January 13, 1942, daughter of Andy Richard and Mary Elizabeth (Stubblefield) Bishop in Burkburnett, Texas. She passed away at age 81 on March 27, 2023, in her Granby, Missouri home surrounded by family. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Allred on February 4, 2022. 

She is survived by one tall brother, Richard (Dickie) Glen Bishop, Shamrock, Texas (who always made her smile); three children, Teresa (Curtis) Longstreet of Florida, Stacey (Jackie) Williams of Neosho, and Kenny (Jayme) Allred of Florida; five grandchildren, Byran Williams, Zachary Allred, Danny Williams, Lierra Longstreet Sobolevskiy, and Jacob Allred; and thirteen grandchildren.








In 1952, her family moved to Velma, Oklahoma where she met her love, Hubert Allred at Velma-Alma High School and married on December 23, 1958. Hubert and Linda were married for 63 years.

While living in Neosho, Linda worked at Teledyne, and retired from Eagle Pitcher in Joplin, Missouri. She loved to swim, play games with family, and sew. Her daughters value the Barbie clothes that were made with intricate detail. Linda’s children, and grandchildren were always in her heart. 








She was a devoted Christian, wife, and mother with a sweet and kind disposition. Her love for Hubert, her husband, was unwavering.

She loved well. See you in Heaven.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Church of Christ at Granby, Missouri with Bobby Stafford officiating.
