(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Pamela Jean Brown, 72, of Reeds, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Solace House of the Ozarks.
Pamela was born on July 26, 1951, in Carthage, Missouri, to Leland Stoops and Viola Francis Chandler.
She was joined in marriage to Edmund Brown on April 3, 1982, in Carthage; he survives.
Along with her husband, Edmund, Pamela is survived by three brothers, Robert Stoops and wife Linda of Joplin, Richard Stoops and wife Diane of Grove, Oklahoma, and Russell Stoops and wife Cindy of Commerce, Oklahoma; four nieces, Gina Marie Hildebrandt and husband Bret, Amber Abbott, Janice Marie Gravener and husband Roger, and Amy Stoops; and two nephews, Bruce Stoops and wife Carolyn and Blake Stoops.
As per Pamela’s wishes, she has been cremated. There are no services planned at this time.

During her childhood years, Pamela and her family moved to California where she graduated from Hueneme High School. She moved back to the Jasper County area and worked at St. Luke’s Nursing Center and Hardee’s in Carthage. Pamela loved to read and garden in her free time.
