(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)James Edward Gay of Miami, OK passed from this life Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO. He was 68.
Jim was born May 27, 1956 in Broken Arrow, OK to Edward Eugene and Mary Jane (Miller) Gay. He had lived in Miami most of his life and graduated from Miami High School class of 1974. Jim worked at Wal-Mart in Miami, OK.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, David Gay.
Survivors include 1 nephew Christian Gay of Joplin, MO and 2 nieces Heather and Melanie, several cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Samuel Nero, II will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday following the service at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.
