(From Greenfield Funeral Home)Cleo M. Lollar, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon, MO at the age of 85.
He was born on March 25, 1939 in Sylvania, MO to John and Marie (Freund) Lollar. Cleo graduated from Greenfield High School in 1958. He served his country in the United States Army.
Cleo was united in marriage to Elaine Marie Grimes on May 19, 1972 in Kansas City, KS. He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Cleo was also a honorary lifetime member of the American Legion Post #47. He enjoyed raising cattle and watching his herd. Cleo was a sports enthusiast. He loved watching the Greenfield Wildcats, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Kansas City Royals.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Marie Lollar; and two brothers, Gary Lollar and Donald Lollar.
Survivors include his loving wife, Elaine Lollar of the home; one daughter, Tracy Mosby and her husband Victor of Overland Park, KS; one son, Brett Lollar and his wife Mindy of Greenfield, MO; nine grandchildren, Christina Mosby, Dr. Morgan Fellers and her husband Bryce, Cole Lollar and his wife Cheyenne, Mason Jones and Madison Crouch, Ally Estes and her husband Brandon, Lauren Jones, Jacob Jones, Delaney Lollar, and Annabelle Mosby; two great-grandchildren, Sutton Fellers and Ridge Lollar; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Main Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
