Bonnie Louise Lanham Parsons Bates, 94 of Anderson, Missouri, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri.

She entered this life on March 2, 1930 in Hutchison, Kansas to the late Joseph Erton and Ivy Mae (Nesbitt) Lanham.

Bonnie was born in Hutchison, Kansas and grew up in Anderson, Missouri she lived there until her marriage to Raymond Parsons. She moved to many states in her 94 years living in Kansas, Washington, California, Texas, Arkansas and finishing her life where many of her memories began in Anderson, Missouri. She enjoyed life on the farm when she had the chance by gardening, canning, and taking care of the many animals she loved to collect. She also enjoyed crocheting and pursuing studies in the medical field.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Russell Harrison; three children, Gary Parsons, Stanley Parsons and Sandra Eiland; and one great-grandson, Dominic Parsons.

She is survived by her sisters Eunice Meadows, Janice VanDyne, and Nancy Salzman, all of California; daughters, Charlotte Brown and husband John “Mike” of Noel, Missouri, Cindy Horsley and husband Barry “Hoss” of Council Hill, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, Travis Eiland, Sandi Pittman, Michael Eiland, Scott Wofford, Niles “Brent” Wofford, Dwayne Wofford, Matthew Parsons, Caleb Parsons, Breanna Ellis, Jenna Kinslow, and Andrew Watkins; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; Gracie Eiland, William “Chance” Eiland, Quinton Pittman, Bethany Mustafa, Reagan Pittman, Jeremiah Pittman, Rowdy Eiland, Michael Eiland Jr., Ryan Wofford, Samantha Boyd, Ashley Wofford, Megan Wofford, Kaleb Wofford, Bradon Wofford, Zibbi Wofford, Karver Wofford, Katie Aston, Darin Wofford, Natalie Wofford, Dawson Wofford, Miah Parsons, Carmella Parsons, Henley Parsons, Thatcher Parsons, Joshua Parsons, Jacob Parsons, Keelee Parsons, Remington Parsons, and Finnigan Kinslow; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; Abigail Eiland, Shelby Eiland, Waylon Eiland, Lilly Eiland, Anastacia Pittman, Violet Mustafa, Milo Mustafa, Laith Mustafa, Patch Pittman, June Pittman, Harmony Boyd, Gabriel Wise, Cooper Boyd, Peyton Boyd, Emery Aston, Aleah Aston, and Josiah Parsons.

A graveside memorial will be held at the Noel cemetery at a date to be set by the Family.
