Lowell Williams

Lowell R. Williams, 81, Neosho, died March 16, 2015 at his home in Neosho, following a lengthy illness. 

Lowell was born June 14, 1933 in Huntsville, MO and moved to the Seneca-Westview area as a child. He served in the National Guard and then the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, 1953-1957. He was an antique dealer, a private pilot and designed local store displays and interiors. He was an accomplished artist and had served as president of the Neosho High School Booster Club, Crowder College Roughrider Booster Club and a Golden Glove Sponsor. Lowell was honored as a 50 years Mason and was a member of the Scottish Rite.

 He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca J. Williams of Neosho; daughter in law, Debbie Love of Neosho; six grandchildren, Genevieve Williams, Joshua Love, Marissa Love, Valerie Love, Cesar Estrada and William Wiseman; four great grandchildren, one brother, John Williams of Washington; two sisters, Annetta Swartz of Kansas City, MO and Leona Smith of Rogers, AR and his former wife, Kay Caudell. Lowell is preceded in death by a son, Eric Williams in February 2010; two sisters, Marge and Norma; a brother, Bud and the mother of his children, June Williams.
