Margaret Louise Lovell, age 82, Webb City, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at her home after an illness.
Margaret was born March 3, 1933 in Canton, Missouri to the late Clarence Vernoy and Calista Bossard Vernoy and had lived in Joplin most of her life.
A homemaker, Margaret enjoyed reading, cooking, crochet work and playing games with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended Westside Full Gospel Church in Webb City.
She married William E. Lovell, Jr. on September 11, 1954 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2005.
Survivors include a son, Clarence Lovell and his fiance, Lorie, Joplin; two daughters, Connie Osborne, Oronogo, Anna Barlett, Webb City; two sisters, Ella May McFarland, Tulsa, Linda Vernoy, Houston; grandchildren, Cory Osborne and his wife, Trisha, Jason Osborne, Rachel Barlett, Matthew Lovell, Ashley Lovell; and great grandchildren, Nate Dickey, Gavin Bishop, Cierra Osborne, Carston Osborne, Avery Bitticks and Adam Bitticks.
Services are planned for Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clarence Lovell, Cory Osborne, Jason Osborne, Jeremiah Bitticks, Darren Shively, Glen Lovell and Dennis Shively. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel.
