Mr. Jack D. Gordon, 79, of Powell, Missouri departed this life Sunday evening, April 24th, 2016 at his home.
Jack entered this life August 28, 1936 to the late Dolf and Mary Flossie (Bacon) Gordon in Ft. Worth, Texas. On December 3, 1956 in Ft. Worth, Texas he was united in marriage to Betty McFarland. Shortly after he and Betty were married they made their home in Boyd, Texas until moving to Powell, Missouri in the summer of 1976. Jack worked as an over the road truck driver for many years. He enjoyed playing horse shoes and spending time with his family and friends.
Jack is survived by two daughters, Debbie Brooks and husband, Larry, of Washburn, Missouri and Tammy Cox and husband, Terry, of Stella, Missouri; four grandchildren, Tammy Brooks, Bobbiray Brooks, Shane Brooks and Travis Cox; seven great grandchildren and one sister, Linda Conner of San Angelo, TX as well as a host of other family and friends.
